See details and contours about the bodies of water that can lead you directly to the channels and drops that are a safe haven for fish. Use external mapcards with the dual card slots, or simply use a card to save waypoints and snapshots along your journey.
Side Imaging and Down Imaging offer you a set of eyes below the water. Use the side imaging technology to scan 240ft to the left and right of the boat. Down imaging will take you directly underneath to bring the detail of the bottom, fish and structure that reside below you. As the sonar snapshots are created of this expansive 180 degree view, they are pieced together to reveal an accurate picture of the area surrounding you.
Enhance your views by using the DualBeam Plus Sonar to see accurate returns of the bottom up to 1500ft deep. Combining both the narrow and wide beams will give you a coverage area equal to the depth. When used with sonar echo enhancement you can see precise detail of not only the fish that wait, but the drop and bait as well.
View the returns on the high resolution 7” color screen. See picture perfect quality with the 480 X 800 wide screen resolution. Use the CCFL backlight to take advantage of the fishfinder in low lighting conditions.

5HB 898c SI is an awesome piece of equipment, definately worth the investment. I have discovered things on the bottom I have passed by for the last 10 years. It has not only helped me to become a better angler but I also learned a lot about my favorite fishing spots.
