Performance and affordability meet in equilibrium with the Lowrance X59DF. The notable features begin with the 4 inch high definition lcd screen with a 38,400 pixel count. Outfitted with what Lowrance calls Film Supertwist, the monitor provides superior contrast for easy readability in direct sunlight and backlight for reading at night. It’s viewable from nearly every conceivable angle even with polarized sunglasses.

The dual frequency 300 watt transmitter can penetrate to depths of up to 1500 feet. This power is combined with many proprietary features from Lowrance that any angler will find indispensable. FishReveal can be used to expose fish targets by providing 10 fully adjustable gray tone levels that contrast the targets from their surroundings. Grayline helps distinguish between hard and soft structures. The relative thickness of the lines displayed allow anglers to determine if they are looking at weeds, trees, or fish targets. And those targets can be found at high boat speeds thanks to the Hyperscroll feature which automatically increases pulse frequency during acceleration.

All of these features can be viewed and shared with everyone on the boat regardless of location when networked with multiple devices through the NMEA 2000 network. The X59DF supports this Lowrancenet protocol and can therefore be connected to other sonars, GPS devices, fuel sensors, speed sensors and more. Imagine being able to lookup map waypoints from the bow while your buddy gathers important temperature data from the stern.

The Lowrance X59DF has everything that today’s fisherman has come to expect from a fishfinder and much more. It has the right power, the right features, and the right price. It’s expandability provides the utmost in flexibility to accommodate all circumstances; and it all comes with a one year warranty from one of the biggest and most respected names in the business.
