Lowrance excels in the world of compact fishfinders with robust and powerful features and the Lowrance X67C is certainly no exception. This is immediately evident when gazing upon its 256 full color screen that measures 3.5 inches with an ultra-bright LCD that ensures viewing that is easy on the eyes. The compact design makes is suitable for mounting anywhere on the boat and the quick release feature allows for a no hassle way to remove the unit when finished for the day.
800 Watts of peak to peak power provides penetration of signals up to 600 feet in depth. The 200 kHz Skimmer sounder transmits a single high powered beam directly below the boat. FishReveal, Hyperscroll and Symbol ID combine to process the sonar data for simple analysis. Target hidden under cover are found and indicated with graphical icons. This imagery can be captured even at high boat speeds. Multiple zoom options, alarms, and built in memory for saving data add further value and functionality to the unit.
Ice fishers are finding the X67c to be a formidable tool in hard water angling situations. With the built in flasher mode, and its transflective lcd screen that is able to withstand extreme cold temperatures, the unit is perfect for these occasions. Fastrack displays flasher style sonar returns in a column to the right of the screen. An optional ice kit ups the ante with a thermo carrying bag, battery well and tie downs, charger, and swing-out transducer bracket. And Colorline helps define and discriminate your fish targets from ice debris and other hard structures.
If you aren’t requiring navigational capability at this time, or you are looking to add sonar abilities to your chart-plotting rig, then the Lowrance X67C is certainly an investment worth making.
