Step up to the A series line of chartplotters and sonar fishfinder combo units. The Raymarine A50D belongs to this prestigious pedigree that won Motorboating magazine’s Best of the Year award. The A-series combines high definition graphics and 2d and 3d charting of coastal and inland water bodies with simple and elegant design that allows for simple and intuitive operation and setup. All of the qualities an innovation that are most coveted in the industry are at your disposal with the A50D.
The A-series comes in three screen size flavors with the A50D sporting the 5 inch full color VGA monitor with a high 640×480 resolution. Use the swivel mount for quick and flexible boat attachment or take advantage of the optional in dash mounting kit for center console installation. These waterproof units are rugged and yet designed with aesthetics in mind; the built in cable management system with protective end caps and a quick release lever keep everything neat and tidy with no muss and no fuss.
Multiple sounder configurations are possible with the A50D. Depending on whether you plan to fish in lakes and streams or in coastal areas, Raymarine has you covered. The A-series offers the dual beam transducer for coastal fishing expeditions and the single 2kHz Fanbeam transducer for inland ventures. Both sounders provide a more than adequate 500 watts of power and HD Digital technology that provides an outstandingly clear signal. Even more options are available as the A50D can also be paired with one of DSM300 line of transducers as well.
The A50D can be purchased either with or without pre-installed cartography software. If the software is desired, users can choose between one of several different versions: Lakes and Rivers, U.S. Coastal, or a Navionics international edition that includes Latin America, Oceania, Southern Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Upgrading to more robust charting is possible with optional software from Navionics. Gold, Platinum and Hotmaps charts can be loaded onto the A50D with a chart card that plugs into the built in card reader. Satellite photo maps, panoramic port photos, and 3D charts are just some of the upgraded features that are available with these cards.
Combine all of these incredible features with the integrated high sensitivity WAAS GPS receiver and you have an all in one device that is a true leader in the market. The A50D is being heralded as one of the very best by industry insiders and everyday anglers alike.
