It also has GPS navigation charts and contour maps, an Ethernet port, two full-sized SD card slots, and video camera support.

The built-in Broadband Sounder, StructureScan HD and Side- and DownScan sonar systems work in tandem to detect every fish, reef, and any other structure below your boat. The Touch Insight’s foot-wide enhanced SolarMAX PLUS touchscreen display is the first new feature long-time Lowrance users will notice. Those familiar with tablets and smartphones will feel at home with this new setup where every feature and map is accessible via icons and smart-keys. The screen itself is brightly colored and crystal clear even in sunlight and can display data in real-time on four different panels. There are also five buttons along the right edge of the device for sailing on rough seas.
With Insight Genesis at the heart of everything the HDS-12 Gen 2 Touch Insight does, it only makes sense that the system has a number of networking options.
The first option you have is the built-in dual Ethernet port. This port allows the Touch Insight to link with any computer giving you even more customizable options than you ever thought possible. Then, there is the optional wireless module that integrates the Touch Insight with your iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
