Lowrance Elite 3x comes equipped with an 83/200 kHz dual-frequency Broadband Sounder transducer that also features an LED-backlit color display. With a 240×360 pixel resolution, the screen is easily viewed from any angle. The dual-frequency functionality provides maximum visualization beneath the vessel. The 83 kHz sonar targets a 60-degree conical area that scans large areas. When detecting fish, the display illustrates the fish as arches. The 200 kHz sonar offers an additional 20 degrees of coverage that differentiates between solid objects and creates vertical displays. The patented Skimmer transducer provides water depth and temperature readings, along with boat speeds.

Elite-3x Features and Ease of Use

• Advanced Signal Process-or ASP minimizes the need to adjust the Elite’s settings manually. The inexpensive Elite-3x series displays the fish, solid structures and the bottom terrain in much greater detail

• Power button-also controls the backlight feature by adjusting from daylight to nighttime for optimal viewing

• Page button-Quickly switches between the 83 kHz and 200 kHz frequencies. The + and – keys allow anglers to see and focus on targeted areas through 4x zoom capability

• Menu button-provides access to sensitivity, range, frequency, noise reduction, ping speed, color line, fish I.D., overlay data and settings pages

• Fish I.D.-allows anglers to change the way the display illustrates fish targets. Visualization options include either viewing fish as arches or as more easily recognizable fish icons. The function additionally has alarm and tracking options

• Mounting bracket-swivels, tilts and releases the fishfinder quickly to change viewing angles or to remove the Elite-3x for storage

• One-year limited warranty and Advantage Service program options

I fish North West tournament I bought this and worked fine for 3 tournaments. Good finder for light use or on a small boat
Not good for tournament fishing where you are going to work the hell out of it. I had to keep resetting unit Everytime I pulled into new area. Great for occasional use
