The Garmin Echo 200 offers you a device that is both affordable and able to increase the success of your angling experience. The ease of use becomes apparent from the moment of installation with the quick-release tilt mount. You will have the fishfinder and the included transom mount transducer set up and ready for action in no time at all.

Your viewing area is expanded with the Echo 200 and the dual-beam transducer that is included. Powered by 300w RMS sonar you can see accurate detail below the boat at depths of up to 1500ft, making deep water fishing a viable alternative. For those shallow water excursions, the sonar gives a wide angle view of up to 120 degrees to allow you to see fish, structures and contours even in a lower water depth.

Garmin’s Smooth Scaling technology ensures that you always have access to your sonar history during your excursion. Even as you alternate between water depths you can view the history to see where you have been and what spots you have covered. This feature also allows you to rewind your sonar history as needed. Know in an instant where those previously visited hotspots were located.

Every detail gathered by the Echo 200 is brought to you on the 5” screen. The 480 X 320 grayscale display will allow you to see and target the fish you want clearly and effectively. You can get a great deal on Garmin Echo 200 here.

I’ve been using this for over a year. This is the first fishfinder that doesn’t black out on me at 500 ft depth in saltwater. I’ve used many Humminbird models and none of them produced any output at 500 feet. I don’t like the mount but I overall I’m very pleased with this unit.

I had no problem installing this but the display is not easily readible. It seems that the image is sharp but not dark enough even in the shade. It might be that my eyesight is at fault but I should’ve bought a color fishfinder.

Don’t let the low price fool you, this is a great fishfinder – 5 inch display with a dual beam transducer, great value. It is able to read depth in shallow water, even less 10 ft deep and it is able to show detail at 20 knots. The display is clear, much better than greyscale Humminbirds I used. GREAT UNIT!!!

I really like this fishfinder, great display, trolling motor mount is included. However, make sure you read the fine print, the speed sensor is optional and not included in the package, it has to be purchased separately.

I’ve done a lot of research before buying and finally decided on Garmin Echo 200. This is a fully functional fishfinder, the competition at this price point doesn’t even come close. I never owned a fishfinder that cost more than $200 but this one is by far the best of the ones I used.
