5/5

Humminbird 345c DI has an average rating of 5 out of 5 based on 3 user reviews.

humminbird_345c_di

Humminbird 345c DI features a comfortably large 3.5 inch display, with 256 Color, so you can easily identify everything that it’s 16° and 25° beams pick up (for depths of up to 600 ft). The screen can be altered to your preference as it sports both customizable display and background colors. The results are displayed in real time, due to the Instant Image Update feature. And, utilizing its special SwitchFire technology, you can switch between the ultra detailed Max Mode and the simplified Clear Mode, depending on weather conditions.

Because your time is valuable, the Select Fish ID feature allows you to weed out the small fish and focus on just the ones that are worth your effort. You can further narrow down your search via the temperature alarm, which sounds when you reach a specified temperature (important when your fish of choice resides in a certain temperature band). And, you will not need to spend the minutes squinting away at your screen, because of the Large Digits View, which displays critical information in a large, easy to see format.

This is a great buy if you’re looking to add a second fishfinder on your boat and your first has GPS. Down Imaging is awesome especially if you fishing on lakes with submerged structures. Very easy to use and the display is clear. 5 STARS!!!

It’s a smaller fishfinder – only 3.5 inch display – but you get a lot for the money. The display detail is excellent – everything below the boat is clearly visible. I even got a free shielded power cord from Humminbird to eliminate interference with the auto pilot.

This unit was a replacement for an older HB 565 model that finally bit the dust. I must say I’m pleasently surprised with 345c DI. I don’t use the down image much since it doesn’t help me find fish but the 2D sonar is excellent. It’s much more sensitive than the old 565 and I’m getting very clear picture with the power output set to 11, just above 50% power. I also like the freeze frame feature and the split screen with the 2 frequencies displayed together.
