Proving that big things come in small packages, the compact Elite-4 contains a crisp, bright LED backlight and a 300W RMS sounder able to reach the far depths, some 800 to 1000 ft deep via its 83/200 kHz dual-frequency transducer. The screen is easily and quickly adjustable, while also being sturdy and stable. Track targets’ movement over time with the unique TrackBack feature, which lets you review up to four pages of recorded sonar history. You can even mark waypoints (up to 3,000) and special routes.
The Elite-4 comes ready-to-go, with a basemap pre-loaded, and can be used with popular program upgrades, including those by Fishing Hotspots Pro and Navonics. These can be installed via the built-in microSD slot (which is weather-proof). Other amenities of the Elite-4 IceMachine include the accurate GPS antenna, the rod-holder slots, and several pockets, mesh pouches and tackle trays. There is also room for two StowAway utility boxes. The fishfinder requires a 12v battery and charger, both of which are included.
