Improve your success with the Humminbird 596c HD DI, a fishfinder that combines ease of use with top notch components to deliver action packed adventure to the angler. Set up quickly and easily to enjoy features like a split screen zoom, Selective Fish ID and a customizable interface. The high powered sonar and superb display ensure that nothing is missed on your fishing excursion.
See the bottom like never before with the 596c HD DI and Down Imaging technology. Create sonar snapshots of the fish, structures and bottom to give you an accurate portrayal of what lies underneath your boat. This straight down perspective, when used in narrow mode, will give you a view of only the area immediately beneath you. Locate the fish you want to find at depths of up to 250ft.
DualBeam Plus Sonar allows you to expand that vision to see even more detail at a wider angle. Use the 20 degree and 60 degree beams separately to gain comprehensive portrayals of the fish and structures under the surface. Combine them together to expand the width of your coverage and create a remarkable bottom profile up to 600ft deep.
One thing that sets the 596c HD DI apart from the competition is the excellent display. Every image gathered by the sonar is presented to you on the high resolution 5ā screen. The 640 X 640 color display shows each fish and structure in explicit clarity. Never worry about fishing in low light or nighttime conditions with an LED backlight that makes viewing returns easy at any time of day or night.
The 596c HD DI allows you to modify your returns to reflect the fishing conditions and water with SwitchFire technology. View full coverage returns down to the thermoclines with max mode. Clear mode allows you to see through rough waters to only the fish and structures you are interested in.

5I couldn’t decide between Lowrance Elite 5 DSI and HB 596 HD DI. Folks at fishfinders.com pointed out that Humminbird offers higher screen resolution and regular 2D sonar in addition to down imaging which Elite 5 DSI doesn’t have. I went with Humminbird and I’m really happy I did. I had no problems with installation, the images are very sharp and the fishfinder added a whole new dimension to my fishing experience.

5Humminbird 596 HD DI is an awesome fishfinder. The images are increadibly crisp. The DI fishfinders have their own crystal to retrieve down imaging which coupled with the high resolution screen produces images that are far better when compared to other models. Iām very pleased with this unit.

5With Humminbird 596c HD DI you will not have any excuses anymore. This fish finder is very reliable, accurate, and ready to let you know where the fish are located using Humminbird imaging technology. Down Imaging bounces high-frequency sound waves off of the fish and they show up the finders display screen with astonishing accuracy. The display screen is a 5-inch high definition LCD screen with a resolution of 640 V x 640 H. With so many pixels on a 5-inch display there is no wonder the imaging is almost lifelike.
More of the Humminbird innovations are used in their Dual Beam Plus sonar which has 16-degree and 25-degree beams. Also, using Switchfire Sonar you will have much more flexibility to manage the weather conditions such as clouds and sunshine. The sonar is rated to be able to gather images to a depth of 600ā. Using the 596c HD DI fishfinder you will be able to see every fish, rock, and tree in the water.
Installation is a breeze for a handy fisherman with a little bit of time on his hands, so there is no need for professional installation charges. Packaged along with the fishfinder are the easy to install mount and the instruction manual. I recommend every angler needs to purchase a fish finder and if you can afford the 596c then purchase it, but be ready not to have any more excuses. The Humminbird 596c HD DI will help you get maximum results from your fishing season. Also, the sonar is a lot of fun to play with when you are bored.
Fishfinders.com is the best place to buy it online. You can get for under $500 after their 10% discount.
